A visit to Augsburg is the best way to determine if you are meant to be an Auggie.
To get you started, we invite you to explore our college in the city by meeting with an Admissions Counselor and touring campus with an Auggie Guide.
Visits are held in the mornings Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Afternoon visits are available Monday – Friday at 1:00 or 3:00 p.m.
Your individual meeting with an admissions counselor is a great occasion for us to get to know you. You can ask questions about Augsburg, the admission process, and scholarship opportunities. Counselor visits last approximately one half hour. You will also be given student insights as an Auggie Guide takes you around campus to share more about their college home. The campus tour lasts approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
Interested in meeting with a counselor but can’t make it during the work week? Counselors are available select Saturdays throughout the semester to meet with you. During your visit, counselors will go over your major and scholarship opportunities, as well as provide unofficial credit evaluations when you bring in your transcript(s).
Hmong campus visit day
We invite prospective students from the Hmong community for a visit day on Thursday, March 30th from 3:30 – 6:30pm. Learn about the undergraduate admission process, scholarships, academic programs, student support services, enjoy a campus tour and more! You will get to hear from staff across the campus in departments from Pan-Asian Student Services, Academic Advising, TRIO/SSS, Student Financial Services, and our Counseling & Wellness Center. There will also be a Hmong student panel where you get to ask questions about their college experience.
The event is open to high school, transfer, and adult undergraduate students and their parent/guardian(s) and dinner will be served. Campus tours will be in Hmong and a translator will be available during all presentations.
