You have a lot of questions: Where will I live? What will I do on
the weekends? How will I make connections with other Auggies? There
are so many things to do and ways for you to get involved at Augsburg.
The campus is geared toward supporting you, from allowing you to express your spirituality to life in our residence halls.
Here are more ways to live life as an Auggie:
- More than 1,000 students live on campus in a safe, convenient, and fun home-away-from-home. All residence halls include laundry facilities and a computerized entrance system, and rooms include free local telephone, cable, and Ethernet connections.
- Ethnic student services provide support and social activities for American Indian, Hispanic/Latino, Pan-Asian, and Pan-Afrikan students.
- Need help with your studies? Tutoring, academic skills coaching, supplemental instruction, and the math, public speaking, and writing labs are open year-round.
- Get involved in campus life with student government, share your writing or photography skills on the Augsburgian yearbook staff, or explore several of the clubs and organizations at Augsburg!
- Try out for an athletic team (men’s and women’s sports), join an intramural club, or just cheer for the Auggies at a sporting event.
- Are you a musical Auggie? You can sing or play in one of several performing groups.
- Whatever your background or beliefs, you can find a way to express your spirituality at Augsburg. We offer daily chapel service Monday through Friday for 20 minutes, a private meditation chapel, and student groups offering fellowship for students of Christian faiths.
