Throughout the year we offer information sessions on campus (unless noted) where you can learn more about the program by sitting down with an admissions counselor and one or more faculty members.
Join us for an Information Session
March 13, 2014: Meet us at 5:30 for snacks,information about the MFA program, and social hour than sit and enjoy a screening of some of MFA screenwriting mentor Nicole Brending’s work. Register
Re-scheduled–March 24, 2014 Book Reading: join us between 5:00-6:00pm for information about the MFA program than enjoy a 6:30 book reading by MFA mentor and creative non-fiction author Jack El-Hai. Register
April 12, 2014: Our April event will begin on campus with snacks then take us to the MN Arboretum for MFA mentor and playwright Sarah Myers adaptation of Peer Gynt. Snacks begin at 3:30 and the bus leaves campus for the Arboretum at 5 pm. Please note in the dietary text box if you are attending the play with us or just coming to chat about the MFA program during the social hour. Closer to the event we will contact you with ticket information and cost. Register
One on One with an admissions counselor
A one on one visit can be set up at any time with an admissions counselor. Generally, visits occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm by appointment. Appointments after hours, are also available depending on your needs and the counselor’s schedule. Call 1-855-682-6102 to schedule.
