Throughout the year we offer information sessions on campus (unless noted) where you can learn more about the program by sitting down with an admissions counselor and one or more faculty members.

December 4th Book Reading: Please join Graduate Studies and the American Indian Studies Department for a book reading by Heid E. Erdrich MFA mentor. We will also be sampling foods from her new cookbook Original Local-Indigenous foods, stories, and recipes from the Upper Midwest.
January 27, 2013 Book Reading: join us at 5:30 for a book reading by MFA mentor and creative non-fiction author Jack El-Hai.

In March we will showcase MFA mentor and screenwriter Nicole Brending.
The April event will begin on campus with snacks then take us to the MN Arboretum for MFA mentor and playwright Sarah Myers adaptation of Peer Gynt.
One on One with an admissions counselor
A one on one visit can be set up at any time with an admissions counselor. Generally, visits occur Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm by appointment.
