Darcey K Engen

Darcey Engen teaches Voice for Screen and Stage, Introduction to Theatre, Creative Drama, and Skills of Music Theatre. She also directs one main stage production each year. Her particular interests are in martial arts actor training and feminist theatre.

Engen’s past performance experience in Minneapolis includes Theatre de la Jeune Lune, Red Eye Collaboration, and Dudley Riggs’ Brave New Workshop. Before coming to Augsburg she helped create and participate in a performance project about racism with international students in Poland. Recently Engen co-wrote and performed in “Floating Mothers,” a two-person production that deals with the funny and poignant moments of mothering.
