Laura Boisen’s teaching philosophy centers around feminist principles, and the idea that every person is a potential teacher and learner. Contact with students is intended to develop a connection with each student as an individual. Many of the social work students have person contact with faculty members. There is a coherent curriculum taught by qualified members of the faculty with practical experience. Laura helps her students achieve success by developing a personal relationship that fosters the development of critical thinking.
