Dr. Revering is one of Augsburg University’s first PsyD graduates, having completed her degree in 2022. Dr. Revering has provided direct care services in inpatient, outpatient, day treatment, private practice, and correctional settings. She is also a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard. She has special clinical and research interests in improving mental health and offending trajectories among military veterans, service members, immigrants, individuals in custody, and other underserved populations. In particular, she is interested in ways establishing social support and building resilience can mitigate the negative impact of insecure attachment styles, adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and trauma among these populations. Her teaching style emphasizes creating a safe and welcoming environment for students and fostering bi-directional learning in the classroom.
