
Yue Wu, PhD, MT-BC, NMT-Fellow, is a board-certified music therapist and a Neurologic Music Therapy Fellow. She earned her PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Minnesota, where she also completed fellowships with the Minnesota Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (MNLEND) program and the Advanced Rehabilitation Research and Training (ARRT) Post-Doctoral program.
Wu is a passionate generalist with a specialization in Neurologic Music Therapy. She currently practices at the MacPhail Center for Music—one of the nation’s oldest and largest community music schools—where she provides music therapy services to individuals across the lifespan. In addition to her clinical work, Wu is the Founder and Executive Director of Light in the Well, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting inclusion and creating shared experiences for people of all abilities through music and storytelling. Her clinical practice goal is to enrich the lives of individuals with neurological disorders, terminal illnesses, and other medical conditions by building therapeutic relationships through music. Her research goal is to conduct and participate in innovative research and apply the findings to practical issues that matter.
