Dr. Holloway is a clinical health psychologist with experience working across community mental health, school systems, college counseling, and outpatient settings. As a faculty member, she aims to embody an energetic, engaging teaching style that challenges students to think critically about how their academic learning translates into culturally humble, scholarly, and clinically competent practice.
Her research interests include attachment, parent–child relationships, the intersection of parental mental health and child well-being, developmental stressors across the lifespan, ethics in psychological practice, consultation and supervision, interpersonal processes in psychotherapy, cultural humility in clinical practice, and Relational Cultural Therapy.
In her teaching, Dr. Holloway emphasizes cultural and developmental foundations in ethics, consultation and supervision, and self as therapist, encouraging students to integrate theory with reflective practice.
