Kyja Foster

Dr. Foster specializes in integrated behavioral health and has worked with a diverse range of clients in outpatient, day treatment, residential, inpatient hospital, and integrated medical clinic settings. They have experience providing individual and group therapy, as well as psychological assessments across settings. Dr. Foster is dually licensed as a clinical psychologist and an alcohol and drug counselor, with work focusing on the intersection of trauma and substance use. In their role as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Augsburg, Dr. Foster values a developmental approach to teaching, while centering diversity and clinical applications of course material.
