
Dr. Juyoung Lee is the Director of Music Therapy and Associate Professor of Music, overseeing both the undergraduate and graduate music therapy programs at Augsburg University. She has completed Master’s and Ph.D. degrees in music therapy at the University of Melbourne in Australia and has over 11 years of experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses. As a registered music therapist, Dr. Lee has been working for over 19 years with people of all ages, from infants to older adults, at not-for-profit disability organizations, and in community-based settings such as adult day-service facilities, a pediatric hospice, and aged care services. Her research focuses on people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, community music therapy, as well as inclusion and diversity. Dr. Lee regularly publishes research articles and presents at both national and international music therapy conferences.
