I joined Augsburg University in 2022 as a faculty member, bringing a deep commitment to the teaching profession. I believe teachers are responsible for far more than academic instruction—they are entrusted with shaping lives. I approach the preparation of future special education teachers with a strong sense of responsibility for their development, both inside and outside the classroom.
My work centers on creating supportive, thoughtful learning environments that encourage personal and professional growth. I aim to foster classrooms where each student is challenged to think critically, act with integrity, and engage with the world around them in meaningful ways.
Guiding the next generation of educators is a responsibility I do not take lightly. I am mindful of the influence teachers carry, and I strive to prepare my students to lead with purpose, empathy, and a strong moral compass.
I am proud and honored to have the opportunity to gain new knowledge and perspective from Augsburg’s inquisitive and exceptional student body.
