Marceleen Mosher is an Augsburg alumna and passionate communication professional and scholar. She enjoys fostering a love for the subject with her first-year students in Introduction to Communication Studies, especially delving into how the media shape the reality we live in. Marceleen has co-authored several published works and is working on a series of papers investigating the media’s coverage of water infrastructure. She works at Minnesota Public Radio as a communication manager in her spare time and hopes her students will come and learn about the world of public media anytime with a tour request.

Marceleen received her Master’s Degree from Sam Houston State University where her studies focused on interpersonal communication, specifically intercultural communication. Her research centered on the power that framing messages surrounding climate change can have in motivating behavior and attitudinal change. She continues this research today and plans to expand on it as a Ph.D. candidate in the future.
