In addition to the scholarships awarded to you at the time of admission, you can apply to other Augsburg and outside scholarships to help you manage the cost of your college education.

Latinx Student Services supports you through your application process, be it proofreading your essay, completing a recommendation form, or referring you to the most appropriate on/off-campus resource.

Honoring Outstanding Latinxs at Augsburg (HOLA) Scholarship
Award: $2,500 annual, renewable

For self-identified Latinx students in the Augsburg Day program

The HOLA Scholarship is known as one of the “Multicultural Life Scholarships”. For more information about the Multicultural Life Scholarships Application, visit here.

DACA and undocumented students are eligible and highly encouraged to apply.
Promise, Presidential and ActSix Scholarship recipients and International Students (F-1 and J-1) are not eligible for this award.

Scholastic Connections
Award: $5,000 annual, renewable

Scholastic Connections is a scholarship program for high-achieving undergraduate students of color at Augsburg University. It is designed to assist students succeed in completing their undergraduate degree and prepare them to be engaged, successful citizens of the world on graduation by facilitating career development and planning.

There are three pillars that support the Scholastic Connections goal: self-development, community development, and post-undergraduate development.

DACA and undocumented students are eligible and highly encouraged to apply.
Promise, Presidential and ActSix Scholarship recipients and International Students (F-1 and J-1) are not eligible for this award.

Immigrant Opportunity Fund

This fund is possible due to generous donors to provide financial assistance, opportunity, and encouragement to undocumented and DACA students of all nationalities. Currently, this funding is only available to support with tuition expenses and it is distributed in a first come, first serve basis. Please note that only currently enrolled students are eligible to receive funding from the Immigrant Opportunity Fund. Students who have been awarded the following scholarships are not eligible for this fund: Augsburg Promise Scholarship, Full Tuition Scholarship, and Act Six Scholarship.
