On-Campus

Augsburg University has counseling services for students available through the Center for Wellness and Counseling (CWC) and Campus Ministry. It is important to know that counseling services from these professional counselors are privileged and confidential and will not generate an investigation, unless the allegations involve a minor, vulnerable adult, or an imminent threat to the life of a person. Your University counselor or pastor can provide more information about reporting options.

Off-Campus

Aurora Center

Augsburg has a contract with the Aurora Center, located on the University of Minnesota East Bank campus, so that Augsburg students may use their services at no charge; you need to identify yourself as an Augsburg student when you contact them. The Aurora Center provides sexual assault, stalking, and relationships violence support 24/7. If you seek medical services at a hospital, you may request that the Aurora Center be called and request a sexual assault advocate to accompany you during your exam.
