Government and Politics: Comparative – Andrew Conneen

I have taught AP Comparative Government for nearly 30 years and currently teach at Adlai E. Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire, IL.

I came into the course having no experience as a Comparative teacher or student, so I know how it feels to be both excited and overwhelmed in teaching this incredible course. I have also worked in numerous positions with College Board responsibilities related to AP Comparative including scoring exams, writing exam questions, developing FRQ essay rubrics, and developing the College Board course description. The APSIs I teach include the materials I use in my own semester-long course as well as instruction on how to best prepare your students for success on the exam based on my varied experiences.
