Licenses & Endorsements

At Augsburg College you can pursue your dreams of becoming a teacher while continuing to work.

We do this by offering classes that meet every other weekend,  limited weekday evenings, and summer sessions.

Average time to licensure completion is 3 years for elementary education, 2½ years for secondary, and 3 years for special education, and 3 years for ESL. Degree completion follows and averages one or two years.

Elementary Education

Endorsements in math, communication arts, and social studies are available through weekend and weekday evening courses.

The general science endorsement area is available through a combination of weekday, weekday evening, and weekend courses.
