Your journey starts here
For over a decade, Augsburg has offered a tuition and fee-free pathway to higher education for eligible Minnesota residents as a "last-dollar" program. This means that, for eligible students, Augsburg will cover the balance of tuition and fees that remain after other scholarships, grants, stipends and tuition waivers have been applied.
This program acknowledges academic success and is designed to make Augsburg affordable for students with demonstrated financial need. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, assuming the student continues to meet all of the following eligibility requirements:
- At the time of admission, have either:
- an unweighted high school GPA of 3.0+ as an incoming first year student.
- a cumulative GPA of 3.0+ across all colleges attended as a transfer student.
- Be a Minnesota resident and eligible for the Minnesota State Grant or the Minnesota Dream Grant.
- Have a family Adjusted Gross Income (AGI)- as reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Minnesota Dream Act Application- below $80,000.
- Not be in default on a state or federal student loan.
- Be enrolled as a full time student in our undergraduate day program.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards.
- Have not already earned a baccalaureate degree (including those earned in a foreign country).
Students that meet these requirements will have the total cost of tuition and standard fees- which does not include room, board, or books- covered through scholarships and grants.
