Why I came to Augsburg College:

Well, I was planning on going to my community college, UW-Barron County, and wasn't really happy with that. My pastor, David Halaas, (an Augsburg alum) told me that I should look into Augsburg because of its music department. While researching, I noticed that the department had a Gospel Praise Ensemble, and I was hooked! The music department, along with the city life, the distance from my hometown, and the small class sizes really drew me in. I completely fell in love with Augsburg!

What makes me an Auggie?

I am very involved in the music department and in the world of student affairs. I am an orientation leader, and I worked for residence life as a community advisor. Currently I have three positions in the office of undergraduate admissions as an office assistant (data entry), student ambassador, and intern admissions counselor. I love every minute of it!

If I could tell you just one thing…

I would say that Augsburg is such a relaxed and cool place to be. There is so much going on and so many experiences to be had. Have fun with this time, because it's an experience that will change your life and mold you into the person you will be in life.
