As the only physician assistant program in Minnesota, Augsburg's Department of Physician Assistant Studies educates generalist physician assistants oriented toward service to underserved populations, both in rural and urban settings. This three-year program includes full-time study in classes and clinical training. We are proud to say that all of our graduates are nationally board certified, and since the program's inception, our students have attained some of the highest mean scores on the national certifying examination administered by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
