Stay in the City: Summer Housing Contract Available March 16!
Augsburg Residence Life is pleased to offer summer housing for Augsburg students and guests participating in Residence Life-affiliated summer programs.

The Summer Housing Contract is available in your Housing Portal until Friday, April 10, 2026.
Assignment Information and Costs
Summer Housing space is limited; only Luther Hall and Oren Gateway Center will be open for Summer Housing. If you are assigned to Luther Hall or Oren Gateway Center for Summer Housing, you will be permitted to move to your Summer Housing assignment after May 18, 2026, or as communicated to you by Augsburg Residence Life Staff.
If you are assigned to a Summer Housing space that does not align with your Fall 2026 housing assignment, you must move out of your Summer Housing space by Sunday, August 2, 2026, or as communicated to you by Augsburg Residence Life Staff. No extensions beyond this date will be given unless you are participating in a summer research program (URGO/McNair).

Students approved to live on campus for the summer term who are participating in an Augsburg-supported summer research program (URGO, McNair, etc.) are eligible to receive a housing credit. Please contact Residence Life for further information.
Eligibility
To be eligible to live on campus for the summer term, Augsburg Students must meet one of the following conditions:
- You are registered for a minimum of three credit hours at Augsburg University for the duration of the Contract period;
- You participated in an Augsburg graduate studies program in Spring 2026 or will be participating in an Augsburg graduate studies program in Fall 2026;
- You are participating in an Augsburg-supported summer research program (URGO, McNair, etc.);
- You are participating in an internship for credit through Augsburg University;
- You are an international student;
- You are participating in StepUP;
- You are working at an on-campus job;
- You are experiencing insecure housing or an unsafe housing situation prohibiting you from accessing alternative housing.
Please note your eligibility will be evaluated or verified by Residence Life and/or the Dean of Student Office. You must submit supplemental documentation if you are applying for summer housing due to certain conditions (internship, employment, or insecure/unsafe housing situations). Only students who receive Residence Life and/or Dean of Students approval will be permitted to reside on campus for the Summer term.
Cancellation Information
Cancellation or termination of this Housing Contract at any time during the Contract term will result in the assessment of a cancellation fee. The amount of the cancellation fee and refund eligibility will be determined in accordance with the applicable Fee and Refund Schedule, based on the effective date of cancellation or termination, as determined by Augsburg Residence Life. If you choose to cancel your Housing Contract for any reason prior to the end of the contract period, you will have 72 hours from the date your Housing Contract cancellation is submitted to move out of your assigned space and return any assigned keys to the Residence Life Office in the Urness/Mortensen Lobby.
