For those students who wish to dive more deeply into specific areas within the discipline of sociology and simultaneously achieve greater breadth of knowledge by drawing connections with related fields of study, we offer several “interest tracks” in sociology, including:

Interest tracks guide majors in selecting elective courses in a way that tailors their sociological training, experiences, and skills. Students may select from these recommended courses and create a program that best suits their interests and career goals. There is a contact faculty person for each interest track and, if a student is interested in pursuing one, they should feel free to reach out to them.
