SciTech connects college students majoring in STEM fields to paid internships in small to mid-sized Minnesota companies.


URGO

The Office of Undergraduate Research and Graduate Opportunity at Augsburg, connects students to both new and existing research and scholarship opportunities on campus, across the U.S., and internationally.


McNair

The McNair Scholars Program at Augsburg, is a TRIO program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The goal of the program is to increase graduate degree attainment among students from groups typically underrepresented in U.S. graduate education.


PTK

Phi Theta Kappa is international two-year community and technical college honor society.


Transfer Advising and Admissions

Academic advisors help prepare community college students for transfer to 4 year institutions. Augsburg’s transfer admissions team will help prospective students apply for admission and understand how their credits will transfer.


Transferology

Transferology is a tool to help students plan and understand how their college credits may transfer between institutions.


TRIO/SSS

TRIO/Student Support Services is a free program funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The program provides individual and group services to low-income and/or first generation students so that they may overcome class, social, and cultural barriers to complete their education.


LS-NSSA

The Louis Stokes – North Star STEM Alliance is the Minnesota branch of the nationwide, Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation, which aims to double the number of African American, Hispanic Latino, Native American, Alaska Native, Pacific Islander, and Southeast Asian graduating with bachelor’s degrees in STEM fields.


HOPE Center

The Hope Center for College, Community, and Justice at Temple University exists at the intersection of action research, policy and advocacy, and educational training services to ensure that students are able to meet their basic needs at colleges and institutions around the country.


S-STEM Resource and Evaluation Center

The Scholarships in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (S-STEM) Resource & Evaluation Center (REC) aims to increase the number of talented low-income students who obtain degrees in STEM and enter the STEM workforce.
