Augsburg University’s nursing department is dedicated to promoting culturally responsive health practices that uphold and improve human potential. As nursing professionals dedicated to transcultural nursing practices and closing racial gaps in healthcare, we are excited to announce a new partnership between Augsburg University and the Transcultural Nursing Society (TCNS).
The Transcultural Nursing Society consists of a community of nurses dedicated to enhancing the quality of culturally congruent, competent, and equitable care that results in improved health and well- being for people worldwide.
Under the new partnership, Transcultural Nursing Society Members who are newly admitted to, and enrolled at Augsburg, including the Adult Undergraduate program and Graduate degree programs*, certificate programs, and individual courses, a discount of $50 per undergraduate credit and $80 per graduate credit based on a student’s program. This discount will also be extended to relatives of Members. Student’s will have applicable application fees waived, and certain other benefits related to the Augsburg Partnership Program.
Membership in the Transcultural Nursing Society is open to all healthcare professions and individuals interested in culturally competent and equitable healthcare for all people. For more information and to complete the registration form, go to www.tcns.org.
