CLASSES CANCELED AND OPERATIONS SUSPENDED TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY IN MINNEAPOLIS AND ROCHESTER

Augsburg University has canceled classes and suspended normal operations Tuesday and Wednesday at both the Minneapolis and Rochester locations because of severe cold. Students are encouraged to consult their course Moodle site and monitor email for any additional information and alternative coursework from their instructors.

Only essential services, such as public safety, residence life, and food service, will be available. Librarians will be “on call” for virtual or online consultation between 9am-6pm. Not all scheduled employees in essential services departments may be needed. Employees with questions should contact their manager to verify if they should report to work. Only essential personnel should report to work.

Augsburg encourages students and employees to put their safety first when determining whether they will be able to travel to and from campus during inclement weather conditions.

Many facilities and services will have adjusted schedules. For information on specific campus facilities, services, and events, see Campus Facilities, Services, and Events Weather Updates.
