Minneapolis campus classes to start after 11 a.m. Monday, January 28

Due to weather conditions, Augsburg University has cancelled classes that start before 11 a.m. today, Monday, January 28. Students are encouraged to consult the course Moodle site for additional information and alternative coursework from their instructors. Classes that start after 11 a.m. will be held on their normal schedules.

Augsburg is not suspending normal operations. Employees should coordinate schedules and work arrangements with their supervisors as needed. Augsburg encourages students and employees to put their safety first when determining whether they will be able to travel to and from campus during inclement weather conditions.

April 3: Rochester classes canceled

Due to hazardous weather and travel conditions today, April 3, Augsburg University has canceled classes at its Rochester location. Faculty are encouraged to make arrangements to meet with their students via Zoom or other methods. Students are encouraged to consult the course Moodle site for additional information and alternative coursework from their instructors.

Although classes in Rochester are canceled, Augsburg is not suspending normal operations. Employees should coordinate schedules and work arrangements with their supervisors as needed while ensuring everyone’s safety.

March 5 on-campus classes canceled – Minneapolis and Rochester

Due to hazardous weather and travel conditions today, March 5, Augsburg University has canceled classes that begin after 3 p.m. in its Minneapolis location and has moved scheduled Rochester classes to online. Faculty with labs that start earlier than 3 p.m. but continue past 3 p.m. are encouraged to end early. Students are encouraged to consult the course Moodle site for additional information and alternative coursework from their instructors.

Although classes are canceled, Augsburg is not suspending normal operations. Employees should coordinate schedules and work arrangements with their supervisors as needed while ensuring safety.

February 19: Rochester Classes Canceled

Augsburg University has canceled Rochester classes today, Feb. 19, due to hazardous weather and travel conditions. Instructors may make arrangements to hold classes via Zoom or make alternative plans for canceled classes. Students are encouraged to contact their instructors and consult the course Moodle site for additional information and alternative coursework from their instructors.

 

 

 

 

January 22 on-campus classes canceled; normal operations suspended – Minneapolis and Rochester

Augsburg University has suspend normal operations at its Minneapolis and Rochester locations today, January 22, due to hazardous weather and travel conditions. All classes that begin after 3:30 p.m. are canceled.  Some instructors may make arrangements to hold classes via Zoom or make alternative plans for canceled classes. Students are encouraged to consult the course Moodle site for additional information and alternative coursework from their instructors.

While normal campus activities are suspended, essential services are maintained. Examples of essential services may include security, maintenance, residential and food service operations, and custodial services. Employees should check with their supervisors if they have questions about their schedule. Human Resources will provide information about how to code employee time.
