We are hosting a Medical School/Physician Alumni panel on Wednesday, March 24 from 6-7:30 pm and a Physician Assistant Alumni panel on Thursday, March 25 from 6-7:30. You will have the opportunity to hear from and connect with alumni from across the country to learn about their experiences as professional students and practitioners. Augsburg Pre-PA Club
Planning on attending physician assistant (PA) school or interested in medicine and not sure which route to take? Recently rated the #1 occupation in the US (according to U.S. News), physician assistants work as advanced practitioners in most areas of medicine. The Augsburg Pre-PA Club aims to provide students with resources to learn about the PA profession and prepare students to apply to PA programs post graduation. As a club, we hope to host:
- PA student panels
- Discussions with practicing PAs
- Volunteer opportunities
- Application (CASPA) workshops
- And build a community of prospective PA students

The Medical School Application Process Webinar
Tuesday, March 16 from 6-8pm (PST) WesternU COMP-Northwest will host its next monthly pre-med series event. You and/or your pre-med advisees are welcome to join us for any topic you might find useful. Western University of Health Sciences is a graduate health sciences university located in Pomona, CA and Lebanon, OR.

Join WesternU COMP-Northwest’s Assistant Director of Admissions Donna Fulton and current medical students as they lead prospective students through a presentation on and discussion about the medical school admissions process. We’ll discuss pre-requisites, the application time line, interviews and more.

EnVision Your Future: A Focus on Optometry
Given the pandemic has caused a number of disruptions in the lives of our prospective students, The UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry (UIWRSO) recognize experience and exposure to the optometric profession has been challenging. This virtual series is meant to help bridge this gap. Gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the profession.
This interactive Q&A virtual series will be delivered in a panel format with faculty, current students, administration, and alumni offering their unique perspectives on the optometric profession and highlighting their experiences at UIWRSO.
The Virtual Series Schedule includes:
• Tuesday, March 16 at 6:00 p.m. – A Wide Lens: Optometry Scope of Practice
• Tuesday, April 13 at 6:00 p.m. – How to Prepare for Optometry School
• Tuesday, April 27 at 6:00 p.m. – The Future of Optometry
Participation in this program will help your Pre-Optometry students meet the UIWRSO Optometry Shadowing Hours admissions requirement.
