International Student Health Insurance Programs
International students (F-1 & J-1 students and their dependents) are required to have adequate health insurance during their study program. It is mandatory for international students to enroll in Augsburg College’s group plan through HTH Worldwide. The only exception is if a student fills out a hard waiver form and is able to provide proof of equivalent coverage for each school year. To enroll or inquire about Augsburg’s group plan for international students, please contact Jim Trelstad-Porter, director of international student advising at 612-330-1686 or porter@augsburg.edu.
