People’s Center Medical Clinic Uninsured Augsburg students have access to low-cost ($5 co-pay) health care through Augsburg’s contract with People’s Center. Medical clinic located one block from Augsburg; family practice, chronic disease management, physical therapy. Also provides STD testing and treatment (not included in Augsburg contract). “People’s Center is committed to making health care accessible and affordable for all of our patients. We accept all major insurance plans and offer sliding fee discount program, prompt pay discount program, and flexible monthly payment plans. We also help individuals and families sign up for health insurance through MnSure for free.”
Community-University Health Care Center – Hmong, Lao, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Somali, and Spanish interpreters on staff. Medical and dental services available. Accepts most insurance. If uninsured: “If you do not have insurance, we can help you apply for MNsure, Medical Assistance, dental coverage for children, and other programs that might cover your services. A Patient Services Representative can help you apply during your appointment. We also offer a Sliding Fee Discount Program. Eligibility is based on your income and family size.
