Pre-Health Newsletter: February 4, 2021

Pre-Health Advising

If you are looking for virtual pre-health shadowing opportunities, I have added some additional resources to the URGO website this week.

URGO has extended the Phase 1 summer research application deadline to February 16th. The Phase 2 application deadline is now due March 1st. This change is to give students more time to find a research mentor and to work with them to write a strong application. Visit URGO’s website for resources on finding off-campus research opportunities as well.

Aisha Mohamed, ’16 Biology, will speak on the intersection of religion and science. Aisha, a second-year medical student at the University of Minnesota, will explore ethical issues raised by advances in science. Register in advance for this webinar.
