Giving Societies

To celebrate and recognize the generosity of our donors, Augsburg University has giving societies. The below society levels are recognized solely based on donations to the Augsburg Fund.

What differentiates Augsburg from other schools is the environment that’s been created for students. Many students we serve come from backgrounds where higher-education might not be thought of as a possibility. Augsburg is an institution that remains accessible because of the generosity of our financial supporters. My biggest motivation for giving is my firm belief in making sure we continue to have relevant curriculum, faculty, and staff that are committed to supporting students all the way through their education.

– Pahoua Yang Hoffman, Regent, Director’s Society.

I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with students and professors during the academic year and during summer independent research. What I see at Augsburg is diversity in perspectives, belief systems, class, race, etc. It’s reflective of what the world looks like, what it believes, and how it behaves. Learning and experiencing ‘differentness’ in all its aspects is vitally important to preparing future generations of citizens and leaders of our community and world.
