LSAMP Bridge to the Doctorate Program
NSS-eligible students admitted to a Doctorate Program can apply for financial aid of approximately $35,000 annually for two consecutive years. This funding is available to a cohort of 12 LSAMP students during the first two years of their STEM graduate studies. The program aims to provide students with the necessary academic and research skills to successfully complete their STEM doctoral degrees and transition into the STEM workforce or academia as professors.
Please note that students may not know which universities (within the alliance) will have available funds for new students early in the graduate school application process. Qualifying LSAMP students can inquire about the Bridge to Doctorate Program and any available funding directly with the graduate department to which they are applying.
