Augsburg Joins National U-CAN Initiative

ucan_final2Augsburg College is part of a national initiative that provides prospective students and their families with public information on more than 565 college and universities across the nation. The web-based component of this initiative, called U-CAN, was developed by the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and will be available to the public Sept. 26.

This web site will provide students and their families with concise, consumer-friendly information on individual private colleges and universities across the country. The college profiles include information on admissions, enrollment, academics, student demographics, graduation rates, most-common field of study, credit-transfer policy, accreditation, faculty information, class size, tuition and fee trends, price of attendance, financial aid, campus housing, student life, and campus safety.

“U-CAN allows our colleges and universities to be transparent,” said President Paul Pribbenow. “This is about pursuing accountability for our work as colleges and universities.”

There is no fee to access the U-CAN database. To learn more about U-CAN, visit www.naicu.edu
