International students have a long and important history at Augsburg, and we are proud to include them in our student population.

FOR INTERNATIONAL DEGREE SEEKING and TRANSFER STUDENTS
International DEGREE SEEKING students come to Augsburg to start their Bachelor and/or Master’s Degree (PhD also possible in a few subjects) here at Augsburg. We also accept international TRANSFER students who started their education at a different academic institution, but who wish to transfer and complete their degrees at Augsburg University.
If you are an international student (not a citizen nor permanent resident of the United States) and is interested in applying as a DEGREE SEEKING or TRANSFER STUDENT we invite you to apply through our Admissions Office.
FOR EXCHANGE STUDENTS
We also have great opportunities for students who wish to study abroad for a semester or two. This opportunity is for non-degree seeking students who wish to come to study abroad during their mobility semester(s) and go back to their home countries to complete their programs and degrees. International students who fit into this category are considered EXCHANGE STUDENTS and should apply through our Augsburg Exchange Program.
