ASL Interpreting, Captioning, and CART Requests

Students who access accommodations through the CLASS Office can request American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting, captioning, and/or CART by contacting class@augsburg.edu.

Requests for Augsburg related events, activities, and/or meetings should be made at least five business days in advance (not including weekends and holidays). If a request is made with less than five days’ notice, every effort to arrange these services will be made, but the CLASS Office cannot guarantee service provision on short notice.

Requests for a semester course(s) should be made no later than two weeks in advance of the course start date to ensure we can arrange services for the entire semester. If a request is made with less than two weeks’ notice, every effort to arrange these services will be made, but there may be a delay in services at the start of the semester.

To cancel a request, please send an email to class@augsburg.edu 48 hours or more in advance of the scheduled start time of the event.

To make changes to your request, please email class@augsburg.edu with the updated information.

Note: If you are not a student working with the CLASS Office and are a faculty member or a community member requesting ASL interpreting, captioning, and/or CART, please contact the Event Coordinator or the Department sponsoring the event on campus to request directly.
